After more than three decades of building some of the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic’s finest log homes, we are still incredibly passionate about what we do.

THE INTRODUCTION

As building a log home, timber frame home, or hybrid home is a serious investment, we encourage you to schedule a visit to Beaver Mountain. It’s a wonderful opportunity to sit, relax, and discuss your lifestyle, needs, budget, and timeline with one of our experienced Building Consultants. THE CONSULTATION

This is the brainstorming session, so bring your doodles, lists, and ideas. Talk with our talented Design Team, discuss your budget and desired timeline, peruse our previous home designs for inspiration, review room features, browse color swatches, consider flooring options, and imagine how your furnishings will fit into the layout. Select the style, size, design elements, and unique touches that we’ll use to generate beautiful, 3D, conceptual drawings of your dream home.

REFINING THE DESIGN

At this point, so you have a clear understanding of exactly where the design is headed, your Designer and Building Consultant will show you the conceptual drawings. Your family’s honest feedback is very important to us and we look forward to helping you further refine your vision. When you feel good about where things stand, we’ll generate professional, ¼” scale drawings that can be used for financing applications, builder bids, landscaping bids, and interior design planning.

SELECTING A BUILDER AND EXPLORING FINANCING

Some of our customers come to us with a Builder already in mind. Others prefer we offer suggestions based on our decades of experience with Builders in your area. Rely on us to schedule introductions, meet with you and potential Builders, and even introduce you to reputable financing sources.

CREATING A COMPREHENSIVE
BID ANALYSIS

It’s now time for your Building Consultant to develop a detailed bid analysis for your review, clarify the project scope, review cost estimates, and propose a construction schedule. This is when you’ll feel the speed of the process really start ramping up.

NAILING DOWN THE
FINAL DETAILS

After you review and authorize the final home design/plans and approve the budget, we’ll generate a complete material specifications list, and lock in your construction schedule. Plus, we’ll help you hire your chosen Builder and secure any necessary financing.

GENERATING PROFESSIONAL
CONSTRUCTION DRAWINGS

We will develop construction, assembly, and detail drawings – complete with an Architect Stamp – to comply with permits and building requirements, and then begin manufacturing the components.

Eight

PREPARING THE
BUILDING SITE

This is the point at which your Builder will start clearing the site, excavating, grading, compacting, setting the footers, and pouring the foundation. When you visit, the progress will be visible!

THE CONSTRUCTION
PHASE KICKS OFF

Once Beaver Mountain delivers your materials to the site, construction will get underway. Throughout the process, your Builder can rely on us for expert technical assistance and support.

IT’S TIME TO CELEBRATE MOVING DAY!

When your custom-crafted log home, timber framed home, or hybrid home is complete, all that’s left is the big move! During this hectic and exciting time, we’re still 100% on your side!
